KAY WESTHUES is an artist and folklorist whose work encompasses the fields of photography, videography, audio and ethnography. She has an MS in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University and an MA in Folk Studies from Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, KY. Her creative projects have been widely exhibited in the Midwest, including the South Bend Museum of Art, South Bend, IN; Snite Museum of Art, Notre Dame, IN; Midwest Museum of Art, Elkhart, IN; Noyes Cultural Arts Center, Evanston, IL; 2739 Gallery, Hamtramck, MI; and Pictura Gallery, Bloomington, IN. Her video Water Catchers was included as part of “Surface Tension: The Future of Water,” an international traveling exhibition organized by the Science Gallery at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.
